Spells mean different things to different people and there is nothing wrong in that. For some people they are searching for ways to create peace within a chaotic world, for others it is wishing to regain the knowledge of the cunning folk – where botanicals could aid in backache and help children get over fears, still others use them as a means to an end – money trouble, vengeance, love; the list of reasons to cast and craft a spell are only limited by one’s imagination.

However the advice I would give in spell casting is learn and understand first.

As much as films such as “The Craft” and “American Horror – Coven” have been great for bringing witchcraft into the main stream, they also tend to imply that results are instant and obvious, and specifically in “The Craft” that little to know research or training is required.

I would argue that no matter what you do in life you should attempt to understand what you are doing and why you are doing it before actually going ahead and doing it. This is standard advice for learning to ride a bike, drive a car, a new job, buying a house etc. Spell work is no different.

Read blogs, get books out, go to Moots, speak to and or join Pagan societies. Then and only then, when you have an understanding of how spells work should you begin to cast them.

Saying that, here I am about to give away for free a selection of spells. Why would I do that? Because knowledge should be shared and not feared.

I will be touching on a wide variety of spells, from affirmations / self cleansing, money, love, through to hexing and the very mystical and often frowned on blood and sex magic.

I take no personal responsibility or liability; and caution you to use those you choose with care.
